Michael Buschbach and Benjamin Wutt to Join Shumaker & Sieffert

Michael Buschbach and
Benjamin Wutt have agreed to join Shumaker & Sieffert as associates in the fall after completion of the Minnesota Bar Examination. Michael and Ben were law clerks of the firm while they were students at the
University of Minnesota Law School. They graduated from the
University of Minnesota in 2009 and are now studying for the Minnesota Bar. Previously, Michael worked as an engineer for Battelle at the Department of Energy’s Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory, and Ben assisted the legal department at
Seagate and developed software for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Shumaker & Sieffert has obtained issuance of more than 500 U.S. Patents in the firm's name as legal representative. In addition, Shumaker & Sieffert has drafted hundreds of patent applications and assisted in prosecution of patents that have been filed directly by individual clients.
