Jason Kelly has been named a shareholder of Shumaker & Sieffert, P.A. Jason has been with the firm since 2002, and focuses on patent prosecution and infringement counseling in the medical device and electronics arts.

Patent Practice Seminar

December 10th, 2007

Steve Shumaker and Kent Sieffert recently taught Patent Practice as a seminar at the University of Minnesota Law School. This marks the seventh year that Steve and Kent have taught the seminar as adjunct professors. The seminar focuses on preparation and prosecution practice of U.S. and foreign patent applications as well as patent portfolio management strategies.

New Associates Join Shumaker & Sieffert

Five new associates join Shumaker & Sieffert, P.A. Raymond Berdie, Matthew Gage, Gregory Albin, Ambar Nayate and Jeffrey Wilford recently joined the firm as patent attorneys. Ray, Matt, Greg and Ambar will assist in the firm’s electronics, software and medical device practice areas. Jeff will assist in the firm’s chemical, materials and medical device practice areas.
