Ryan is currently a Law Clerk supporting patent prosecution in the medical device and mechanical arts. Ryan has been working with Shumaker and Sieffert since 2005, when he joined as a Technical Specialist. Prior to working as a Technical Specialist, Ryan was a research assistant studying the tissue biomechanics of pulmonary vasculature in the UW-Madison Department of Biomedical Engineering. Ryan also has experience developing ICU ventilators at Datex-Ohmeda (now GE Medical Systems) and performing laboratory work at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Biophysics Research Institute. During law school, Ryan worked as a summer associate at the law firm of Fish & Richardson.
