Professional Experience

Sarah is an attorney specializing in patent preparation and prosecution in the medical device and mechanical fields.  Sarah pursued joint JD and MS degrees at the University of Minnesota Law School and University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences, respectively, with both degrees awarded in 2015.  Her MS degree is in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and focuses on the genetic components of chronic disease.  Previously, Sarah was a Summer Associate with Shumaker & Sieffert, a Graduate Student Researcher at the Hacket Molecular & Cellular Biology Laboratory at the University of Minnesota, a Legal Research Assistant at the Public Health Law Center, and an Assistant to a Judge in the Hennepin County District Court.
