Shumaker & Sieffert, P.A. sponsored the 2025 AIPLA Women in IP Community Service Event for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota on February 25, 2025. Local IP practitioners, paralegals, and support professionals joined other volunteers at Second Harvest Heartland in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota to pack bulk apples into 38-pound boxes for distribution to food banks in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. The group helped to pack a total of 233 boxes of apples – around 9,000 pounds – during the volunteer shift. Afterwards, the volunteers enjoyed happy hour and conversation at nearby Brick & Bourbon. The event was coordinated by Darcy Shukla of Shumaker & Sieffert, P.A.
