Mercy Sandin

Professional Experience

Mercy is a Technical Specialist at Shumaker & Sieffert, where she focuses on software technologies. She holds a combined B.S. & M.S. in Computer Science from Northwestern. She has additional research experience at the University of Chicago, where she focused on generative AI tutoring systems and quantum computing education for younger audiences. Her technical expertise spans product design, software engineering, AI/ML, and emerging quantum computing technologies.

Mercy is originally from Kenya, and is now based in Woodbury, Minnesota. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking on nature trails with her husband, reading historical fiction, and connecting with friends.
