Shumaker & Sieffert and Mueting Raasch Group partnered to sponsor the 2024 AIPLA Women in IP Community Service Event for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota on February 8, 2024. Local IP attorneys, paralegals, and support professionals joined other volunteers at Second Harvest Heartland in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota to pack Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) boxes for local seniors in need of food assistance and the overflow group packed bulk onions into 40-pound bags for distribution to local food banks. The group helped to pack a total of 408 CSFP boxes and 43 bags of onions during the volunteer shift. Afterwards, the volunteers enjoyed a happy hour with creative cocktails and snacks at nearby Skaalvenn Distillery. The event was coordinated by Darcy Shukla of Shumaker & Sieffert and Julie Griep and Rebecca Davis of Mueting Raasch Group.
