Shumaker & Sieffert sponsored the 2021 AIPLA Women in IP Community Service Event for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN on December 1, 2021. The firm was happy to organize an in-person volunteer event this year at Second Harvest Heartland in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Local IP attorneys, paralegals, and staff joined other volunteers to pack bulk onions into 40-pound bags for distribution to local food banks to help feed our neighbors. The group helped to pack a total of 302 bags of onions during the two hour shift, which is over 12,000 pounds or equivalent to around 10,000 meals! In lieu of a social hour, Shumaker & Sieffert provided a thank you treat to the volunteers. The 2021 community service event was coordinated by Darcy Shukla of Shumaker & Sieffert.
