Shumaker & Sieffert Names Matt Evans as New Managing Partner

Shumaker & Sieffert is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Evans as its new Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2026. Evans brings decades of high-level legal and technical expertise to the role. His background spans practical engineering, in-house counsel for major tech corporations, and patent prosecution at several law firms—including nearly 15 years at Shumaker & Sieffert. This diverse foundation gives him a deep understanding of clients’ needs and a strong vision for the firm’s future.

As Managing Partner, Evans leads the firm’s Executive Committee, which includes shareholders Jessica Kwak Rauckman, Darcy Shukla, Ben Wutt (who continues as CFO), and Jason Kelly (who serves as General Counsel).
